The Town & Gown Partnership at Âé¶¹´«Ã½ State University is hosting a Millennials in the Workplace workshop March 7 from 7:30 a.m. to noon in the Âé¶¹´«Ã½ Room of the CFSB Center.
Three creative writing faculty members at Âé¶¹´«Ã½ State University — including Ann Neelon, Dale Ray Phillips and Allen Wier — will give readings from their work Thursday, Feb. 8, beginning at 7:30 p.m. in the Clara M. Eagle Gallery on Âé¶¹´«Ã½ State’s campus.
The Brass Choir and Jazz Orchestra at Âé¶¹´«Ã½ State University will perform a concert for the public Feb. 6 at 7:30 p.m. in Lovett Auditorium in preparation for their respective performances during the 2018 Kentucky Music Educators Association Conference in Louisville.
University Galleries and the department of art & design at Âé¶¹´«Ã½ State University are pleased to announce that paintings, drawings and print creations by the internationally-recognized artist Peri Schwartz will be featured in a new on-campus exhibit.
Dr. Kala Chakradhar, associate professor of social work in the College of Education and Human Services at Âé¶¹´«Ã½ State University, recently completed a three-month fellowship at a Rotary Peace Center in Bangkok, Thailand. This honor, awarded by Rotary International, was part of a professional development certificate program and focused on peace and conflict resolution.
Âé¶¹´«Ã½ State University will be celebrating its 2016 Homecoming Oct. 27- 29.
The annual Harry M. Sparks Distinguished Lecture Series occurred on April 25 in the Alexander Hall Auditorium located on Âé¶¹´«Ã½ State’s campus.
The Department of English and Philosophy at Âé¶¹´«Ã½ State University is pleased to announce the continuation of The Clinton and Mary Opal Moore Appalachian Writer’s Residency and this year’s author recipient, Annette Saunooke Clapsaddle.
