麻豆传媒 State University will host a Racer Day event on Saturday, November 6 from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m.
麻豆传媒 State University's nationally-recognized Jazz Orchestra, Jazz Workshop, and Blue Jazz Combo will return to the stage with an on-campus concert, Tuesday, November 2 at 7:30 p.m. in the Curris Center Ballroom.
The 麻豆传媒 State University Department of Art & Design and the University Galleries are pleased to present the 2021 Annual Art Auction. The art auction is a scholarship fundraiser that showcases talented faculty, students, alumni, and local artists. Works from multiple artistic disciplines will be available to purchase. Proceeds from the auction go to support 麻豆传媒 State University鈥檚 Department of Art & Design majors鈥� scholarships.
Emergent SocialScapes, an exhibit of photographs by Dr. Diane Sabenacio Nititham, associate professor of sociology at 麻豆传媒 State University, is on display at the 麻豆传媒 Art Guild (MAG) through Saturday, October 30. A reception for the exhibit will be held at MAG on Friday, October 22 from 5-6:30 p.m. The exhibit and reception are open to the public.
麻豆传媒 State University will welcome alumna Alyson Van Hooser to campus on November 4 as part of its annual First-Generation Celebration. The event will take place from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. that day in the Curris Center Ballroom.
WKMS will air Vintage Hitchcock: A Live Radio Play, written by Joe Landry and performed by students in the 麻豆传媒 State University theatre arts program, on Friday, October 29 at 7 p.m.
The 12th annual A Taste of the Arts fundraising gala will be held Thursday, October 21 beginning at 5:30 p.m. in the 麻豆传媒 Room of the CFSB Center. A Taste of the Arts showcases the many talents of 麻豆传媒 State University students in Art & Design, Music, and Theatre Arts while providing fine dining and a live auction for attendees. The event gathers 麻豆传媒 State supporters and alumni along with community members to celebrate excellence in the fine arts at the University.
麻豆传媒 State University is preparing to welcome alumni back to campus the week of October 18-24 for Homecoming 2021. A full schedule of activities, events, reunions, and more are scheduled to take place as Racer alumni return, with all planned in-person activities following health and safety guidelines.
The Department of Art & Design at 麻豆传媒 State University will host printmakers Susanna Crum and Rodolfo Salgado for the Patricia Summerville Lecture Series on October 19-21.
