Emergent SocialScapes, an exhibit of photographs by Dr. Diane Sabenacio Nititham, associate professor of sociology at Â鶹´«Ã½ State University, is on display at the Â鶹´«Ã½ Art Guild (MAG) through Saturday, October 30. A reception for the exhibit will be held at MAG on Friday, October 22 from 5-6:30 p.m. The exhibit and reception are open to the public.
The Â鶹´«Ã½ State University Galleries and the Department of Art & Design are pleased to present David Plunkert: The Visual CommuniGATOR, a range of recent work by the famed illustrator and graphic designer David Plunkert, on view from September 30 through November 1, in the Clara M. Eagle Upper Gallery.
Â鶹´«Ã½ State University’s Department of Music will present a Faculty Showcase recital on Sunday, October 3 at 2 p.m. in the Performing Arts Hall on the Â鶹´«Ã½ State campus.
The Department of Global Languages and Theatre Arts at Â鶹´«Ã½ State University is pleased to present its first show of the 2021-22 performance season, Androcles and the Lion. All performances will take place in the Robert E. Johnson Theatre in the Price Doyle Fine Arts Building on Â鶹´«Ã½ State’s campus. Performance dates are Wednesday, September 29 at Noon; Thursday, September 30 at 9:30 a.m.; Friday, October 1 at 9:30 a.m.; and Saturday, October 2 at 2:30 p.m.
